Left 4 Dead 2 the Odwraca Review

The first thing I thought of when I saw this was oh great... Another Zombie game! I was a little apprehensive at first and curious about this new game, as the first Left 4 Dead was very disappointing. Thankfully Valve listened up and truly delivered this time!

The first that I noticed after sticking the game in was that the graphics had drastically improved! Much more cutting edge and less boxy than the first game in the series. Also they have brought in some new zombies and enemies to decimate, including clown zombies, mudmen and more! The new campaigns of the game are fantastic and sure to keep you on edge throughout the game. But do not worry Valve has also introduced some new toys and melee weapons to help protect yourself while you are trudging through waist high swamp or downtown alleys. You start by carrying on where the first game left off. You are with 3 other survivors on a freeway with destroyed cars all around you, you travel through parks and other structures to finally end up at he carnival. After entering the carnival you are going to be immediately put into a new type of death trap with all kins of brightly covered zombies and former patrons coming straight at you. Also be very aware of your surroundings as you will have a new enemy called a Jockey that hangs around some odd places, attemping to jump at you out of the dark.

Although some melee weapons are great as a good standby, you will need some heavier weaponry so that you can take out the new larger zombie creatures. The Spitter is Valves newest zombie addition and is what they are calling a hero-type zombie and attacks similar to a Smoker or Boomer. They have a special attack that allows them to spit puddles of nasty acid at you and does a awful AOE type damage. Make sure that before you meet one of these guys to grab a new and improved electric guitar or face ripping crowbar as a melee weapon and get ready to smash in some zombie face!

This game is shaping up to be one of Valves greats, and it should be one of great zombie games of the last 10 years. Before this game came out I never wanted to see anothre zombie game or movie in the next 5 years but Valve with its fantastic graphics engine and new weapons with a good storyline has revitalized and breathed life into a series that everyone thought was Left 4 Dead....
